Mid 20th Century Mid-Century Modern Walnut and White Laminate Drop Leaf Bar Cart, Designed by John Kapel for Glenn of California

Glenn of California, a pioneer of the new West Coast modernist design movement, manufactured furniture for the New York-based retailer John Stuart. This amazing bar cart has a walnut wood frame and a white laminate surface with a sliding drop leaf extension. All original and in excellent shape, the white laminate top is like new. No chips or nicks are on the top or the lower shelf. The frame has a beautiful finish with a few minor blemishes that are age appropriate. The casters are all original, and roll easily. There is a clean, single drawer with the John Stuart label inside. The bar cart closed is 44” wide X 20” deep and 29” high. When open, the top extends to 63” wide.
