Description

Period Georgian wood wall mounted candle box. Likely elm. Brass hinges possibly a later addition as leather straps were often used at this time, but were subject to deterioration.

23″ H X 7-1/2″ W X 5-1/2″ D. Later glued repair as shown in top carved detail. Structurally, very secure with patina, signs of age and use as to be expected.
