Vintage Design
This exceptional coffee table was designed by Stefano Casciani and manufactured by Zanotta in Italy in 1984. The table is an outstanding example of the “furniture as architecture” concept, inspired by Giuseppe Terragni’s Follia armchair.
The lower part of the Follia armchair by Giuseppe Terragni in black color is used in this coffee table. The block of legs and seat, made entirely of solid beech, perfectly expresses Terragni’s concept of furniture as architectural elements. Zanotta’s design and industrial production underline the high quality workmanship and aesthetic vision underlying this piece.
