Vintage Design
A lovely quality 19th Century carved oak desk, the shaped top having a carved moulded edge, green leather writing surface decorated with gilt and blind tooling, the front of the desk having a combination of nine graduated oak lined drawers, the carved drawer fronts having lion figure heads as handles, either side of the pedestals having carved figure heads, panelled sides and the back of the desk having a cupboard in each pedestal, supported on a shaped plinth base with further decorative carved moulding. Circa 1860.
