1930s Original Francisco Rebajes Copper Coasters- Set of 4

A beautiful set of 4 original hand-made coasters from Francisco Rebajes, each made of pure copper with an indented leaf motif and signed on the inner rim. Francisco Rebajes rose to prominence in the New York art scene of the 1930s, known for his copper jewelry and other decorative objects; his work was included in exhibitions at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum, and the 1939 New York World’s Fair. These coasters exemplify his use of natural themes and the Art Deco influence of the time, and have a lovely antique copper finish.
