Vintage Design
These chairs are Scandinavian pieces designed by Peter Opsvik, who also designed the iconic Tripp Trapp chair for children.
The chairs have a beech frame and a deep red fabric.
Opsvik has always been interested in human anatomy and physiology, and its ergonomic chairs are the result of his in-depth research into the body’s natural movements and spinal support requirements. His creations have won numerous international design awards and are widely used in both work and leisure settings.
Opsvik is also an active advocate for the environment and sustainability and works to develop ecological and environmentally friendly products. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the Norwegian Industrial Design Prize and the Swedish Design Prize. Opsvik retired in 2018, but his legacy as a pioneer of ergonomic design continues to influence furniture design around the world.
