Vintage Design
Very nice pair of very elegant chiavari dining chairs from the 1940s.
Sitting in rope and solid wood structure worked very finely making these chairs featherweights 🙂
The origin of this model dates from the beginning of the 19th century drawn by Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi.
This model is the version that Gio Ponti was inspired to draw his famous Superleggera model.
These classic style chairs are not lacking in style and have a crazy charm!
Note a few traces of time on the wood but the chairs are completely stable and functional. The strings are well preserved.
