This early 19th-century occasional table is constructed of mahogany and mahogany veneers over a softwood core at the base.

The top and central carved column is solid mahogany.

The central column has an interesting rope twist carving where it terminates with acanthus carving at the base.

The top features a central medallion of inlaid ebony and satinwood.

Most likely English in origin.
