Vintage Design
ETR (Elliptical Table Rod base) coffee table designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1951 for Herman Miller U.S.A.
This table is marked underneath the top with the original Herman Miller label and comes from the 1980s.
The table is nicknamed ‘surfboard’, it is clear why..
The table consists of a seven-ply birch core sandwiched between high-pressure black laminate. The edge is beveled on an angle to give the top emphasis. The wire-rod base is made of chrome plated metal.
The table is in very good original condition. Just little traces of wear on the top.
