A Honduran Mahogany 11 drawer dresser by Frank Lloyd Wright for Heritage Henredon, part of his Taliesin line.
Signed Frank Lloyd Wright and stamped Heritage Henredon on the inside of a drawer.
This is the only line of furniture that bears his signature and a red chop mark.
The Taliesin line was only in production for two years, 1955/1956.
Due to its design which leans more to his Arts and Crafts work and not his more contemporary Usonian designs the furniture did not find as broad an audience as it might have in the mid-1950s in comparison to Herman Miller, Knoll, Brown- Saltman, Widdicomb, Baker etc.
This accounts for its relative rarity and being signed makes it quite desirable and collectible today.
