Beautiful vintage haribako: a Japanese wooden sewing box with five drawers.
Dimensions: height 34.5 cm, width 30 cm, and depth 26 cm.
The box has a warm chestnut reddish-brown color, and the front is decorated with a hand-carved floral motif that continues onto the drawers. This Japanese wood carving/lacquer technique is called ‘Kamakura Bori.’
