When Gavina learned that Kandinsky had asked for the first example to be destined for the living room of his apartment, they decided to produce it under the name Wassily.

Marcel Lajos Breuer was a world-renowned modernist architect and designer considered one of the most important supporters of the international style. This hungarian-born architect was a product of the famous “Bauhaus” design school in Weimar, where he underwent training in the school’s furniture manufacturing workshop.
