Vintage Design
to Behrens Kreuzschwinger in a rare and “raw” version in clear lacquered steel. Unlike the normal Kreuzschwingern here the surface was not chromed or coated but only clear lacquered. Thus, the construction and all welds remain visible.
Elegant design classic by Prof. to Behrens in a rarely found version. Kreuzschwinger are a further development of the Freischwingers. The chair is made entirely of steel rods, which were assembled and welded with extreme precision. The construction and materiality also result in the chair’s unique dynamics. The chair adapts to the movement of the body and swings back and forth. It is equipped with plastic floor glides.
It is in very good condition with signs of use and patina.
