18th Century Imperial Brocade a La Vieille Russie Evening Bag

Made from 18th century Russian Imperial Brocade from the Schaffer Collection this small group of items was discovered in a long forgotten wardrobe at A La Vieille Russie in New York in preparation for their move to a new location. This bag is made from a beautiful woven floral brocade fabric. It is fully lined in silk satin with one slip pocket and a mirror inside. The bag is stamped with a large gold stamp inside stating that it was part of the Shaffer Collection of Imperial Russian Brocade. and it comes with the original certificate of authentication It is in excellent condition.
