Vintage Design
Extremely rare pair of ‘Coquetier’ chairs designed by Pierre Guariche, Joseph Andre Motte and Michel Mortier and manufactured by Studio A.R.P. (Atelier de Recherche Pastique, founded by Guariche, Motte and Mortier), France 1955. These chairs were used in the movie from Jacques Tati “Mon Oncle” in 1958. The chairs have a solid metal frame, black painted. And the seating structure was composed by yellow plastic wires. These are really amazing sculptural chairs, I don’t know if these are still useable. They are anyway amazing to look at and in fantastic original condition. Stunning pair of chairs in museal condition.
