Early 20th Century Folk Art Americana Tramp Art Star Design Ottoman Footstool

Vintage Home is pleased to present this Antique Tramp Art Footstool. Everything is original on this piece. It features intricate ship carved layers of old-finish wood. The design has a star on two sides. The front and back sides have a temple design. The piece has a mustard-Amber colored jacquard fabric on top with nailhead trim. But its the four feet we love the best. They are also layered from the chip-carved wood in a medieval shape. The original shellac finish has aged into a gorgeous crackle adding an additional design feature to the antique footstool. The condition is very good and the piece can be used as a working footstool or a gorgeous antique decor item for display. It’s a piece of Americana Folk Art.
