This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
French jewelry artist Henry Perichon (aka Henry) designed these stunning Talosel resin clip-on earrings in the 1960s. They feature a brown-beige Talosel resin framing topped with metallic bronze and green glass faceted cabochons and complimented with dangling charms. There is no visible maker’s mark, but the style and the French wire clip-back are unmistakable brand signatures.
It is in good condition, with minor wear due to age.
Measurements: 1 in wide (2.5 cm) x 2.07 in high (5.2 cm).
Note: Henry Perichon (1910 – 1970), whose artist name is Henry, is one of the most inventive jewelry designers of the period. His studio was in Lyon, working on a medium such as bronze, silver, white metal, or Talosel resin. His style is hard to define, reflecting many influences, including Ancient, Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, and Art Deco. Many famous actresses from the 1950s and the 1960s, like Claudette Colbert, Suzanne Flon, Michele Morgan, and Edwige Feuillere, wore his jewelry on stage and in real life.
Please see the measurements noted above in the description for best approximate dimensions.
