Mid 20th Century Opal Bead Graduated Triple Strand Necklace with Diamond White Gold Clasp

This gorgeous opal necklace features 3 strands of Ethiopian crystal opal beads. The largest opal is 9.9 mm and the smallest is 4.8 mm. The total carat weight in opals is 249 carats of vibrant stones. They are beautiful stones with lots of flashes of color especially on black which you can see from the photos. The diamond 14k white gold push button clasp looks like a snowflake, flower or starburst – I’ll let you decide what it looks like to you. The clasp also has a figure eight safety. The strand that determines the length is 18.75″ long. The width of the three strands when laid together is 1.11″. The clasp is .95″ wide.
