from a whole series of tables with the L-foot, the multiple sawn veneer inserted and glued and bent under steam. This was the only way to achieve lasting strength in the main load point, the arch of the foot, and to connect the foot to the plate directly at the corner. True sustainability is also evident here: after 70 years of use, our furniture shows a charming, light patina of age and has basically only become more beautiful! This version in these dimensions and with the sunny yellow linoleum can no longer be found in new production at ARTEK today.
slight traces of wear. We offer this colorful table by Alvar Aalto from well-kept previous ownership. Produced in Finland in the 1950s, the previous owner bought the furniture in Switzerland. Only slightly polished and cleaned, the beautiful piece of furniture shows a slight patina of age, especially the table linoleum covering shows slight pressure marks and discoloration.
Birch wood partly bent over steam and clear lacquered with shellac, yellow table linoleum.
