Vintage Design
This eye-catching lounge chair, a lady version of model “Oyster”, is an iconic piece designed by Pierre Paulin for Artifort in the Netherlands around 1950. This fantastic chair is an iconic piece of mid-century modern design! It has a very inviting appearance: the seat is a big shell with a slightly tilted seat for maximum seating comfort. The large seat is newly upholstered in beautiful quality light beige fabric, which creates a nice inviting appeal and is soft to the touch. The seat is designed in nice harmony with the narrow, tubular metal base, all elegantly finished with subtle curves and bends. It combines modernism with luxury and this chair will definitely make a great addition to any decor! This chair remains in very good, vintage condition with new upholstery and only minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a beautiful patina.
