Teak Fresco Desk by Viktor Wilkins for G-Plan, 1960s

This delightful desk was designed and manufactured by British cabinet maker g plan in the mid-twentieth century. G plan furniture has been noted for many years for its sound construction and excellent design. G Plan – E. Gomme Ltd was based in High Wycombe, England, a major center of British furniture manufacturing. The company was revered for its range of high-quality sideboards, tables, and other cabinet goods and for pioneering the concept of furniture sets designed and made to match. The popular ‘Fresco’ desk features four spacious drawers each complete with G Plans signature ‘Fresco’ solid teak handles and one central ‘secret’ drawer. The piece has a beautiful teak grain, warm tones, and rich colors throughout.
