Verner Panton ‘Moon XXXL’ Pendant Lamp in White Metal and Lamella for Verpan

Verner Panton was one of Denmark’s most legendary modern furniture and interior designers. His innovative experimentation with new materials, bold shapes and vibrant colors shines through in his most iconic pieces, faithfully and sustainably re-editioned by Verpan since 2003.

First designed in 1960, the ‘Moon’ pendant represents one of Panton’s earliest lighting designs. The iconic pendant is characterized by its fan-like design with ten ring-shaped lamellae perfectly positioned to provide a soft, ambient and glare-free light. The blades reflect and filters the light and the pendant changes its appearance depending on the angle at which it is viewed. The ‘Moon’ is executed in white lacquered metal to the exacting standards of Verpan using the finest materials available.
