Stunning sculptural ‘Vulcano’ coffee table manufactured by Valentí Vulcano in Spain in 1979. What sets this table apart are its stunning patinated bronze feet, transforming it more into an art piece than just a base. The feet have a blend of green and yellowish/gold hues which give it an amazing look. The rough surface of the bronze plays with light beautifully every minute of the day. The thick rectangular glass top with rounded edges has some minor scratches on the surface from age. A nice feature is the flat surface on the top of the bases which is in contrast with the sides also the difference in colour, the top has a gold/brass tone. Each base is signed with the Valentí stamp on the sides. These tables are made in very limited numbers and makes this a colletible piece too. Valentí is a company in the high-range decoration industry with a long tradition and artisan roots. Its product are influenced by the decorative arts and the renaissance of craftsmanship applied to modernity. Its designs are unique products, made with the attention and care of a silversmith, which are exclusive and loaded with sophistication.
